This is a hybrid event that will allow guests to join us in person in Washington D.C. or tune in to our live broadcast from home. For those attending in D.C., we’ll have a reception at 6PM before our program and dinner at 7PM. For those tuning in from home, join us for the top of our show at 7PM (ET). Following the broadcast, there will be music and dessert in our afterparty celebration.

The TEN Awards will be held in Washington, D.C. The specific location will be shared after ticket purchase.

Cocktail hour will begin at 6PM, and we’ll get seated for dinner at 6:45PM.

Cocktail attire is most appropriate for this event.

This event is only appropriate for adults.

The event location is ADA accessible and will have an ASL interpreter. Videos shown during the event will include English captions. Restrooms will be gender-inclusive.

If you can’t celebrate with in Washington, DC, tune in for our program broadcast for free online, from anywhere in the world.

For food and drink options, here’s what will be provided:

– Gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and vegetarian food options will be available, just let your server know your dietary needs

– Non-alcoholic beverages will be available in addition to a full bar

Tickets to TEN Awards are not tax-deductible, but you can make tax-deductible donations at the event.

We want our whole community to be able to join us at our 20th Anniversary Trans Equality Now Awards. So if you’re unable to be in D.C. with us, tune in to our online program broadcast to celebrate our incredible honorees and support our work at NCTE—any donations you make online during our program will be recognized live! Tune in from home or plan a watch party with friends to amplify your support for our community.

D.C. guests with bid cards: We’ll ask you for your credit card info during registration to start a tab when you arrive. You’ll get your own bid paddle to use to make any donations or purchases. We won’t charge your credit card until the end of the night and we’ll only charge you for what you spend. And if you’d rather pay for purchases with a check or cash, you’ll be welcomed to do so at checkout. We can email you your receipt or print one for you that night.
